Kit, Betsy, Little Nell and Nancy are typical, happy 10-week-old kittens who are absolutely full of life, playfulness and gentle affection.
Unfortunately, they have recently faced a hiccup in their journey and they are now looking for two very special homes where they can be fostered in pairs with a view to adopt, allowing them to settle into a loving family environment while their health is monitored.
About the Kittens
This gorgeous little family is currently thriving, bright and full of life. To give them the most stable, happy start, we are seeking two dedicated families who can foster them in pairs. Having a sibling to chase, snuggle and bond with will provide them with invaluable comfort and a reassuring constant, ensuring they never have to face the next steps of their journey alone.

Their Story & Health Journey
During Betsy’s routine spay procedure, the vet discovered more clear abdominal fluid than would normally be expected. Shortly after, a routine check on her sister, Little Nell, revealed fluid similar to what was discovered in Betsy. Because of this, we must face the possibility that the whole litter (including Kit and Nancy) may be affected.
At this early stage, all four kittens are completely bright, normal in themselves, eating well and showing absolutely no outward signs of illness. However, we simply do not yet know what this fluid might mean for their future.
FIP cannot be ruled in or out an unfortunately it’s not a condition with straightforward testing and requires ongoing monitoring, though newer effective treatments do exist. Following our vet's advice, we believe in being completely open and transparent with anyone considering welcoming these special babies into their lives.
Personality
Despite their medical uncertainty, these four bundles of joy don’t know that they are any different from any other kittens! They are absolute joys to be around, radiating warmth, happiness and that unmistakable, entertaining kitten magic that instantly brightens up any room.
Genuinely sweet-natured: This litter absolutely thrives on human affection. They will gladly soak up all the cuddles, chin scratches and gentle fusses you can give them, purring up a storm.
Playful and bright: Full of a beautiful sparkle, they love chasing toys, pouncing on sibling tails and showing off their happy, adventurous spirits.
Resilient little souls: They remain completely unfazed, energetic and happy in themselves, taking every day in their stride with wonderfully positive spirits.
Ready to Leave: They are already 10 weeks old and ready to find their new forever families.
Foster-to-Adopt Details
To give these kittens the absolute best care while navigating these unknowns, they are being placed on a foster-with-a-view-to-adopt basis in pairs. This allows them to be normal, deeply loved family pets while HART stands firmly behind them, monitoring their health.
The requirements for their foster-to-adopt homes are:
Fostered in Pairs: To ensure they have vital companionship and comfort, they must be adopted in pairs.
No Other Pets: Because of the possibility of FIP, which is considered contagious to other cats, they must go to homes with no other resident cats or other pets.
Local Location: The kittens must remain under the care of Ddole Road Vets in Llandrindod Wells for their ongoing monitoring and any applicants must live within a reasonable travelling distance to the practice.
Financial Peace of Mind: All medical costs will be covered by HART while they are fostered, until they are deemed well enough to be officially adopted by their new families.
Their Ideal Home
This little family is looking for truly special households to support them. Their perfect foster-to-adopt homes will be safe, loving, indoor-only environments where they can simply focus on being happy, carefree kittens.
Their new families must live within a reasonable distance of Llandrindod Wells for vet visits, have no other pets, and feel comfortable navigating these health unknowns alongside the supportive team at HART.

These kittens are genuinely remarkable little souls who have so much love, warmth and resilience to share. While their futures come with a little uncertainty, they have more than enough sweetness to make every single moment completely worthwhile.
