Small Society Lottery Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
This lottery is promoted by Hay Animal Rescue Team, registered charity number 1207328.
The Charity is registered with Powys County Council as a Small Society Lottery in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.

2. Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Great Britain aged 16 years or over at the time of entry.
Employees, trustees and volunteers of the Charity may enter unless otherwise prohibited by internal policy.
The Charity reserves the right to require proof of age and identity before awarding any prize.
Any entry submitted by a person under the age of 16 will be void and any payment received will be treated as a donation where permitted by law.
3. Lottery Period
Each lottery will have its own opening date, closing date and draw date.
Details of the lottery period for each individual raffle, including the opening date and time, closing date and time, and draw date, will be published on the Charity's raffle page hosted on its third-party fundraising platform.
The same information may also be shared through the Charity's official social media channels and groups for promotional purposes. In the event of any discrepancy, the information published on the third-party raffle page shall take precedence.
No entries received after the published closing date and time will be included in the draw.
The draw will take place on the published draw date, or as otherwise notified by the Charity where circumstances beyond its control require a change.
4. How to Enter
Participants may receive entries into the lottery through eligible fundraising activities conducted in support of the Charity.
The method of entry, including any qualifying fundraising requirements and the number of entries allocated, will be specified for each individual raffle on the Charity's raffle page hosted on its third-party fundraising platform.
The Charity may also share entry information through its official social media channels and groups for promotional purposes. In the event of any discrepancy, the information published on the third-party raffle page shall take precedence.
Only fundraising activity and entries fully recorded by the Charity before the published closing date and time will qualify for the draw.
The Charity reserves the right to refuse, remove or void any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, suspected of misuse, or otherwise does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
The Charity's records shall be final in determining eligibility, fundraising totals and the number of valid entries allocated to each participant.
5. Entry Confirmation
Participants will be provided with confirmation of the number of entries allocated to them and, where applicable, their ticket or entry numbers.
The Charity's records shall be final in determining the number of valid entries held by any participant.
6. Prizes
The prizes available in each lottery will vary and will be published for each individual raffle on the Charity's raffle page hosted on its third-party fundraising platform.
Full details of the prizes for each raffle, including descriptions and any relevant conditions, will be clearly displayed on the relevant raffle page prior to entry.
The Charity may also promote prize details through its official social media channels and groups for information purposes. In the event of any discrepancy, the information published on the third-party raffle page shall take precedence.
The Charity reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value where circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless expressly stated for a specific raffle.
7. Selection of Winners
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date.
The draw will be conducted fairly and under appropriate supervision.
The decision of the Charity in relation to all matters concerning the lottery shall be final.
8. Notification of Winners
Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided to the Charity within 7 days of the draw.
If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 30 days, or is found to be ineligible, the Charity reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
The Charity may publish the winner's name and county unless the winner objects to such publication.
9. Use of Proceeds
The proceeds of this lottery will be used to support the charitable purposes and activities of Hay Animal Rescue Team.
At least the minimum proportion required by law will be applied to the Charity's purposes.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Charity shall not be liable for any loss, damage or disappointment suffered by any participant arising from participation in the lottery or acceptance of a prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
11. Data Protection
The Charity will process personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information collected for the administration of the lottery will be used solely for the purposes of administering the lottery, contacting winners and complying with legal obligations.

12. Responsible Participation
The Charity encourages responsible participation in all fundraising activities.
If you believe you may have a problem with gambling, support is available from relevant organisations such as GamCare.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with the lottery shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
