Wildlife Support At Hay Animal Rescue Team
Our work focuses entirely on domestic animals. We don’t have the specialist training, equipment, or facilities required to safely handle or rehabilitate wildlife. Because of this, we’re not able to take in injured or orphaned wild animals, and we cannot offer advice on their care.
Wildlife needs expert, species‑specific support. If you’ve found an animal who appears to be sick, injured, or in danger, please contact a dedicated wildlife rescue as soon as possible. They have the knowledge, licensing, and resources to provide the right care.
📞 Who to contact
Your nearest wildlife rescue centre
Local wildlife rehabilitators
RSPCA (for emergency wildlife situations)
A local vet practice (many can provide initial triage and signpost you)
If you’re unsure who your nearest wildlife rescue is, a quick online search for “wildlife rescue near me” will usually bring up the closest options.
Thank you for helping protect our local wildlife by getting them to the right experts.
