Thank you for considering a donation to Hay Animal Rescue Team (HART). Based in Hay-on-Wye, Mid-Wales, we are a small, volunteer-led animal rescue dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming dogs, cats, and other animals in need.
As a charity, HART receives no government or council funding - everything we do is powered by your generosity. Your donation helps provide food, shelter, and veterinary care for the animals in our care and ensures every animal has a safe, supported future.

Every gift - big or small - has a real impact:
£10 provides food for an animal in need
£25 gives a rescued animal comfort and care
£50 supports emergency vet care
£100 helps rescue and prepare an animal for adoption
All animals in our care are welcomed into loving foster homes, where experienced carers give them the time, patience, and attention they need to feel safe and happy. Our carers help each animal regain confidence, build trust, and learn to thrive, ready for the day they meet their forever family.
Along the way, we make sure every animal is healthy and happy, including vaccinations, microchipping, neutering when appropriate, and treatments to keep them comfortable and cared for.

Topo has been with us for some time, and while he’s still waiting for his forever home, the difference your support makes is clear.
Since coming into foster care, Topo has worked hard on his confidence and social skills. His dog-to-dog skills have improved dramatically, and he now lives happily with a little pack of foster siblings. Homes with other dogs? No problem at all.
We’ve also been helping him learn to accept strangers, and his progress has been amazing. Every day, he shows just how much potential and resilience he has. Topo is loyal, affectionate, and joyful, and with time, patience, and care, he’s learning to trust and enjoy life more and more.
