Lentil

A sweet ginger kitten growing in confidence and ready to blossom in a gentle home.

Meet little Lentil! At just 6-weeks-old, this handsome ginger kitten is a gentle soul who takes a little moment to find his feet when meeting new friends.

Given just a small amount of patience and warm encouragement, Lentil's sweet, affectionate nature shines right through.

About Lentil

Lentil is currently busy learning all about the world around him in foster care. Because he is still so young, he has plenty of growing, discovering, and developing to do before he is ready to head off to his forever home, but he is making wonderful progress every single day.

His key details:

  • Age: Approximately six weeks old (Looking to leave for his forever home at around 10-weeks-old).

  • Appearance: Domestic shorthair (ginger).

  • Gender: Male.

  • Character: Gentle, initially shy, curious, and sweet-natured once settled.

  • Before he leaves us, he will be: Flea-treated, wormed and spayed.

Personality & Charm

Lentil brings a delicate, heartwarming charm, though he may take a moment to assess new situations, watching his sweet personality unfold is an absolute joy. He quickly learns to trust those around him, moving from quiet observation to enthusiastic interaction as he grows accustomed to his surroundings. Once he knows he is safe and loved, his gentle nature shines through, making him a wonderfully rewarding companion to watch bloom day by day.

  • Gentle Soul: Lentil can be a little hesitant when meeting new people or encountering unfamiliar surroundings for the first time, but he’s growing in confidence each day.

  • Blossoming Confidence: Give him just a little time to get to know you, and his playful, affectionate side soon comes bouncing out.

  • Affectionate Companion: Once he feels safe, he thoroughly enjoys gentle interaction, cuddles, and quiet play.

His Ideal Home

Lentil is looking for a warm, reassuring environment where his growing confidence will be nurtured.

His ideal setup includes:

  • Feline companionship: Best suited to a home with a friendly resident cat to help boost his confidence and guide him.

  • Patient, understanding adopters: Families who will give him the brief adjustment period he needs to feel secure when settling in.

  • Safe, enriching space: A peaceful indoor only environment to begin with whilst he grows, that's equipped with cozy beds, engaging toys, and gentle routine.

A Little Seed Ready to Bloom

Lentil may start off a little shy, but watching his confidence grow into warm purrs and playful antics is pure joy. If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet ginger boy, we'd love to hear from you!
