Goose

A gentle, affectionate soul searching for comfort, safety, and love.

Meet Goose - a truly stunning boy with a heart as soft as his silver stripes. Estimated to be between 3–5 years old, Goose is now looking for a very special home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and at peace.

Despite everything he’s been through, Goose remains one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you could ever meet.

About Goose

Goose is a beautiful silver tabby with soft striped fur, neat white paws, a sandy-coloured chin, and the most striking green eyes. He also has a distinctive ear from old injuries sustained before coming into rescue - a reminder of the difficult life he’s left behind.

He is:

  • Neutered

  • Flea-treated

  • Wormed

  • Currently on a pain-medication trial

  • Looking for either a foster-with-a-view-to-adopt or forever-foster home

Personality

Goose absolutely adores human company and thrives on affection. He’s the kind of cat who wants to be wherever you are - following you from room to room, chatting away in chirps and trills, and settling beside you for company.

He is:

  • Extremely affectionate and people-oriented

  • A loud purrer and constant chatterbox

  • Full of head bumps, cuddles, and love

  • Happy curled up on your lap or simply beside you

  • Gentle, loyal, and deeply companionable

At his core, Goose is a loving boy who just wants someone to love him back.

Goose’s Story

Goose has had a very hard start in life. X-rays have shown an old hip injury consistent with a road traffic accident, which has left him with significant damage to the joint. One of his legs now sits shorter due to the injury, and it’s likely he has been living in pain for a long time.

Recently, Goose displayed some uncharacteristic aggression, which we strongly believe was pain-related. This behaviour is entirely out of character for him - he is normally affectionate, gentle, and incredibly loving.

He has now begun a pain-medication trial and will continue to be monitored closely while we learn what makes him most comfortable.

Ideal Home

Goose needs a calm, understanding home where he can finally relax and feel secure.

His perfect home would:

  • Be quiet and low-stress

  • Have no other pets - Goose wants to be the only animal in the home

  • Offer patience, stability, and lots of affection

  • Understand his medical needs and ongoing care

  • Provide him with indoor comfort, warmth, and safety

Goose is particularly frightened of dogs after surviving life on the streets, and he does not enjoy the company of other cats.

A Special Boy

Goose has endured more than any cat should ever have to, yet he still greets people with purrs, affection, and trust. He deserves the chance to finally know what it means to be safe, comfortable, and deeply loved.

What Goose will give in return is endless companionship, warmth, gentle conversation, and unconditional love.

If you’re looking for a loyal friend to share your days with, Goose could be your perfect match.

You won’t regret giving this beautiful boy a chance.
