Mamma
A gentle, loving companion looking for a calm Forever Foster home
Mumma is a 5-year-old cat with a very sweet nature who is searching for a peaceful, stable forever foster home where she can finally relax and simply be cared for. She has a severe heart murmur, which is being carefully managed by the specialist team at Ddole Road Vets.
She is a truly affectionate girl who thrives in quiet surroundings and close human companionship.
About Mamma
Mumma is currently under the ongoing care of Ddole Road Vets in Llandrindod for a severe heart condition. Because of this, she will need lifelong monitoring and support.
All veterinary costs related to her condition are fully covered by HART, and we will continue to provide ongoing guidance and support throughout her life.
Mumma has previously raised kittens and is now ready for a calm, low-stress environment where she can enjoy comfort, routine, and affection.
She is a deeply gentle cat who enjoys being close to her person and finds reassurance in quiet companionship.

Forms strong bonds once settled
Sensitive to busy or stressful environments
Mumma is the type of cat who blossoms in a peaceful home where she feels safe and understood.
Ideal Home
Mumma would suit a home that is:
Completely pet-free (no other cats or dogs)
No children
Quiet, stable, and low-stress
Able to provide an indoor-only environment
Within reasonable travel distance of Ddole Road Vets for ongoing care
She needs a home where she can fully relax without disruption or competing demands.
Important Medical Information
Due to her heart condition, Mumma cannot be spayed, as the anaesthetic risk is too high.
She currently has a hormonal implant to help prevent her from coming into season, but its long-term effectiveness is not guaranteed.
If she were to come into season, the hormonal and behavioural changes could be distressing for her and would need to be carefully managed.
Because of this, Mumma must remain strictly indoor-only. Even supervised garden access is not safe, as there is a serious risk of accidental pregnancy, which would be extremely dangerous for her health.
A Quiet, Loving Companion
Mumma is a truly special cat who doesn’t need much — just a safe, quiet home, a predictable routine, and someone who will love her gently.
In the right environment, she will be a deeply rewarding companion who offers quiet affection and trust in return.
For someone able to offer stability, kindness, and ongoing care, Mumma will make a very meaningful forever foster companion.
